Testimonies from our readers:

I am just sending you a praise report. In the past I had found it extremely hard to try to get my children to understand GOD's word. They are so small (5 and 6 now). I have bought them children's bibles that I read to them and lots of other aids but it didn't seem as if they were getting any of it.

I came across your column, Family Blueprint, a few months ago and I began to do the lessons with my children. My children are not the most easy to handle at times they can be quite difficult, but they actually look forward to the lessons now. My 5 year old is has become eager, to go to Sunday School. I truly want to thank you and praise GOD for you. Family blueprint has been a blessing to me and my family. I am so excited to see the new things that will be brought forth. I have shared the blueprint with all of my dance ministry sisters. It is truly a blessing for us with little children.

May GOD continue to inspire you and grant you wisdom and prosperity in your life.  May GOD continue to use you and give you favor in whatever he plants in you heart.

Every Sunday, I have the amazing opportunity to teach 9 little boys lessons from the Bible.  It’s not amazing that I get to teach, but amazing because of what I learn!  We are using Sonseekers curriculum with the complementary companion object lessons by Julianne Bell at http://www.familyblueprint.org/Family.htm

Last week was the 8th lesson from Genesis 11 about the tower of Babel , and how men often attempt to reach God in their own way, becoming frustrated, even injured, and ultimately failing in the process.  To demonstrate this, we followed the “Family Blueprint Week #8” activity with eye-opening results.  To the excitement of the boys, I announced that we were having a special treat of chocolate pudding.  Their excitement did not fade when I told them that they had eat it with their hands tied behind their backs, because they figured they could just lap the chocolate out of the bowls like puppies, and it would be even more fun.

However, when I placed the pre-packaged and sealed pudding containers into their bowls, they had a dilemma.  As they all began using chins and teeth in an attempt to get to the pudding, some were successful in getting a small taste, but not the full satisfaction of a big delicious bite.  When one boy chipped a tooth (very slightly), I told them all to stop before anyone else got hurt, or made a bigger mess!  I told them that there was a really simple way to get the pudding from the cup into their mouths, but they had to think.

Finally, one boy discovered the solution:  He asked me to open the pudding and feed it to him.  As he was happily enjoying the satisfaction of finally eating the treat, I was shocked at the reaction of all of the others.  They began mocking him, because he was being fed like a baby.  What a dramatic visual to demonstrate that we can never come to God in our own way, or on our own terms, and any attempts will only result in failure.  What a reminder that when we do humble ourselves and ask God to save us, people will laugh at our “simplistic” solution.

From now on when I hear mockers, I will remember the look of contentment on Justin's face, as he ate his pudding, completely fulfilled, not in the least bit frustrated, and with a clean and happy face, unbothered by the mockers who had messy faces and empty stomachs, fully trusting that I could accomplish what he couldn’t.    What a beautiful picture of what God does for me, when I trust him like a child would!

I followed a link from Studylight.org to your website today & totally lost track of time as I went from article to article. I think my favorite so far is your interpretation of Prov. 31. WOW! So much of that I had never thought to view in the light that the Lord revealed to you. Isn't God good?!

I recently published a blog for a ministry that we started about a year ago. I put a link on my blog for your website. My ministry is focused on moms & developing a more intimate relationship with the Lord even with young children. I have 10 kids & my relationship with the Lord is all that gets me through a day.

I also live in Tx. McKinney area. We homeschool also. Do you recieve the Texas Homeschool Coalition magazine, if so you may have seen my family there or read articles I submitted for the August & November issue.

Thanks for allowing the Lord to work through you & your writing. It is a true blessing!

It has been exciting to find your site!

My husband and I are presently living in Germany with our family. We served as missionaries in the Philippines with SEND Int. until the Lord called us back to Germany to serve...

At the same time we are involved in a church plant where I am responsible for the Sunday school. It is exciting what God has been doing and yet very frustrating, because not a whole lot of good material is available in German. Our main co-workers are of Russian-German background with hardly any English proficiency.

With this in mind, I was thrilled to read your "Blueprints" and would like to ask for permission to use your material. This would involve translating contents as needed for lessons and as practical help for parents (just last night I spoke with a frustrated mother who would be very grateful for help with their family devotions).

Please let me know if it would be possible. Thank you very much and God bless you!
