Manna Cake Recipe
  • 1 10-inch angel food cake, store bought or homemade
  • 2 cups cool whip
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced and sweetened with 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 dozen whole strawberries to top the cake

Using a knife to cut bread, cut the top off the angel food cake, being careful when removing it, as you will use it later. Gently spoon out the center of angel food cake, leaving a round, tunnel to fill. 

Tear the cake you've spooned out into small crumbs; then after gathering it with your children as your manna mix with 1 cup cool whip, and the strawberries. Use this mixture to fill the cake. Replace the top and frost with the second cup of cool whip and then decorate with whole strawberries.
