Make A Bar Graph |
To make a bar graph, first you will need to draw two lines, one vertical and one horizontal. These lines are each known as an axis or plural would be axes. Next place your variables across the top or bottom of the chart. In this case this will be hours spent doing activities, such as 1, 2, 3, etc. Then up the side you will place names of children and their favorite activities. Remember to leave two blank spaces under each child's name before you start listing their favorite activities or putting the pictures you have taken in the spaces. Finally you will draw a bar across from each activity to indicate how many hours were spent doing each activity. Try to keep the bars the same width and use five different colors and keep the bars touching each other for each child's activities for comparison. |
